THE CHURCH BULLETIN BOARD
The next Presbyterian Women’s Mission Project is set for Thursday, January 18, 12:30 – 3:00 p.m. at Westminster Hall. We will be making “Sani-panties” for girls in third world countries. All materials and sewing machines will be provided. Abilities needed are: trace, cut and sew. We also plan to meet for lunch at Square Pizza at 11:00 a.m. prior to the project. Please join us in this worthwhile mission project. For more details, please contact Emily Johnson at 254-5346.
The new pictorial directories are available for pick-up near the credenza in the Parlour. Every family who had their picture taken or submitted a photo for the directory may take one copy per household. Please note your name on the sign-up sheet indicating you have received your household’s directory.
The Potluck Dinner & Annual Congregational Meeting is scheduled for Sunday, January 21, at Westminster Hall for the purpose of electing at-large members to the Nominating Committee and nominated members to Session, Deacons, and Trustees; receiving the Annual Report; and conducting other appropriate business. Dinner is at 12:00 p.m. with the meeting immediately after, around 1:00 p.m. If you have individuals in mind for our five at-large positions on the Nominating Committee, please give their names – with their permission – to Jennifer Vansandt, our Clerk of Session. And self-nominations are indeed permitted. In case of inclement weather, the snow day will be January 28.
While you are baking for the holidays, please consider baking and freezing for the Annual Chocolate Festival, which has been set for Saturday, February 10, 1:00 – 4:00 p.m. Informational flyers are available in the Parlour.
Your 2018 Pledge envelopes are now available in the Parlour and ready for pickup. If you have not yet made a pledge, please consider doing so in the next few weeks. Pledge cards are available at the usher stations or through the church office.
